Brandon started at Sign Design fresh out of high school. It started as “just a job”, but became an interest and a passion for signage. After over 20 years, he is still trying to find ways to push the envelope and make new and engaging designs. Every day is something new and he enjoys the challenge of finding the right solution for a specific space or function. Aside from design, Brandon also worked in installation, fabrication, and finishing which helped him learn the many facets of our industry.


When he isn’t designing, he spends time with his “relentless” daughters and wife and cheering on the Bruins.

Becca is a dedicated sales professional with a passion for customer service. After graduation from Stonehill College with a B.A. in Healthcare Administration, Becca spent six years in digital real estate, then shifted her focus to signage and embarked on a new chapter. She started with Sign Design as a Project Manager in 2016, guiding projects through the pipeline from approvals and permitting to production and installation. She grew her skills next as the Installation Supervisor, overseeing the daily operations of a ten-person team. With acute attention-to-detail and organizational skills, she streamlined department processes and assisted in bringing installation projects to successful completion. In 2019, Becca took on a new role as a Sales Account Executive. Through her professionalism and nurturing disposition, she helps her customers from the early stages of design concept all the way through to a finished signage project.

In her spare time, you can find her horseback riding and participating in equestrian events with her horse Guru, hanging with her beloved 2-year-old rescue dog, Hank or enjoying time with family & friends.

Ben Plantz

Graphic Designer

Ben is the senior team member at Signs & Sites. Though he is the lead graphic designer, he has spent over 13 years in design and print and done almost every job in the business – creative, production, and installation. Ben graduated from the Graphic Communications program at Tri-County Regional Vocational Technical High School. He then spent over three years in the awards business before coming to Signs & Sites. Outside of work, Ben likes to spend time with his wife, daughter, and dog. His hobbies include hiking, paddle-boarding/kayaking, biking, technology, and photography.

Bill has over 20 years of professional experience in all aspects of the commercial sign business. Beginning his career as a production coordinator, Bill has worked in every department within the company. He has overseen all day-to-day operations of sign production including design, graphic output, scheduling, installation, purchasing, project management, and quality control.

Brad Nihtila

Brad has worked in his field for over 20 years. Before becoming the manager of the routing department, he worked in finishing, design, and graphics. He appreciates being a part of bringing ideas to life and coming up with solutions to any problems. Previously, Brad worked in retail, as a clerk, assisting on boats, and as a service technician.

He enjoys watching and playing all types of sports, especially soccer, basketball, and baseball. During the summer he also likes swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking with his family.

Bryan was a fabricator of commercial doors and storefronts for 22 years before joining Sign Design. He likes the fast pace of managing projects with his team and says he never has the same day twice! A father of four, Bryan also uses his creativity as a piano player, singer, songwriter and drummer in a band for the last 28 years.

Chris came to Signs & Sites with 13 years of experience in the sign industry. While at Baker Signs and Countryside Signs, Chris gained extensive experience in graphics pre-press, production, and equipment, as well as sign fabrication, and interior and exterior installations. Outside of work, Chris likes to cook and says the best way to cook a tomahawk steak is with a reverse sear. He lives in Burrillville with his girlfriend Alivia.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication Studies from Emerson College and a Certificate in Graphic and Web Design from Bridgewater State University. Christine began her career with Sign Design in 2002 as a member of the sales team. Over the next nine years, she used her diverse skill set to support sales, marketing, permitting, and employee relations efforts at Sign Design. She left the company to become a business owner, providing web development, graphic design, and marketing support to companies of all sizes.

In 2018, Christine rejoined the Sign Design team as our Director of Human Resources, supporting ownership and being a go-to resource for our awesome, growing team!

When she is not at work, Christine enjoys spending time with her family and dog, concerts, Boston sports, walking, and all things Disney!

Dorry is the mother of two, the nana of two and likes to spend time doing word games and puzzles, travel to Las Vegas, and cruising!

Fred joined our Signs & Sites team in 2020. Prior to that, Fred worked as a freelance designer working with clients on print and sign projects. He still spends time honing his craft, including as a graffiti artist. Fred holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design from MassArt. When he isn’t designing, he plays in a national Airsoft league.

Jenn is a graduate of Southeastern Regional Technical High School where she specialized in graphic arts and production. Since 1996, she has been an important part of the Sign Design team. Jenn started here as a production assistant in finishing and worked her way up to becoming the manager of that department. In addition, she has worked in many capacities including assisting in installation, graphic production, operations, scheduling, and estimating. Jenn is a valuable asset to the Sign Design team and our customers!

Jim joined Sign Design, Inc. in 2004 as production and fabrication manager to ensure efficient delivery of quality products. Jim has been in the sign industry for over 25 years in varying capacities: fabrication, installation, production and project management. Jim began his sign career with ten years at a major New England sign company and then became a production manager for NeoSource a high-end lighting company in Denver CO. Jim then moved on to Design Communications, LTD of Boston, where he spent seven years as a lead fabricator and production manager. He is currently our Production Manager and an integral part of the Sign Design team.

Joe has worked in the sign industry for over 14 years as a fabricator and installer. Prior to Sign Design he worked in the plumbing business. Joe most enjoys installing large signs and working with his team. When he isn’t the lead installer on a crane truck, Joe likes to travel and enter fishing tournaments.

Kaitlin began her Sign Design career as a graphics technician and worked her way to become the supervisor of the department.  Previously, she worked in many creative roles including photography, ceramics, screen printing, and as an afterschool art teacher.  She says she works with the best people that are all very talented and work well as a team.  She is an artist in every way and enjoys her “really cute cat.”

Kam began his career at Sign Design looking for a hands-on position. He started in the installation department, moving to the finishing department where he became the department supervisor.  Even after many years, he is always learning something new. He still enjoys the hands-on aspect of his job, especially wrapping vehicles. Prior to Sign Design, Kam worked as a photo technician and a screen printer. Outside of work, he likes to create and cook.

Katy has been working in the sign production field for over 19 years. She enjoys that everyday at Sign Design is different, with her favorite work being hand painting, gold leafing, and sewing.

Outside of work, Katy has many hobbies. She keeps aquariums and loves aquascaping, plays video games, and loves all things fantasy and horror. She also enjoys drawing, painting, and sculpting. Katy has many fish, two giant rabbits, a bearded dragon, a crested gecko, two cockatiels, and a 23-year-old parrot!

Kelly has been with Sign Design since 2007, when she moved back to the Southcoast after earning her B.A in Political Science at the University of New Hampshire. Prior to Sign Design, Kelly was a preschool teacher and a teaching assistant, while completing her M.Ed in Elementary Education at Cambridge College.

Her role at Sign Design has evolved over the years, starting out as a Customer Service Representative, and now wearing many hats as our Office Manager. Kelly supports our General Manager and supervises our administrative team, as well as being a resource for everyone who needs her! She likes that no day is the same at Sign Design and the laid-back family atmosphere.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family. She has rediscovered a love of reading and with her daughter’s insistence, began taking a weekly dance lesson!

Kris has been in the sign industry for over 45 years. He has worked at ten sign companies as an installer and fabricator, with the last nine being at Sign Design. He is skilled at all types of fabrication and enjoys imparting his knowledge on sign “newbies”. Outside of work, Kris is an artist and appreciates art and music.

Laurie joined Sign Design in 2018. Laurie graduated with a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Management and Psychology from Salve Regina University and has spent most of her career in Investment Management at Putnam Investments and Washington Mutual. While raising her family, she also worked as a Realtor and volunteered at a non-profit recreational facility for challenged children, where she then worked as their Registration Manager. Her diverse background in working with customers in a fast-paced environment has made her a tremendous asset to the Sign Design team! Laurie lives in Brockton with her husband and two college-aged children.

Prior to Signs & Sites, Michaela worked in food industry management, but left to pursue a different career path. Michaela holds a degree in English from Bridgewater State University.

Nick is a graphic designer with over 20 years of experience. He has previously worked as a lead designer for projects including signage, direct marketing, print communications, and branding and as a designer and illustrator for school textbooks. Nick enjoys the ability to be creative, especially designing concepts for Gillette Stadium and other local places to which he has a special attachment.

He loves to spend time with his wife, son and 9-year-old lapdog Ryder, as well as his extended family. In his free time, Nick collects and listens to records, plays video games, watches and plays fantasy baseball and football, and spends time outdoors on day trips. He also plays guitar and is especially excited that he can play drums with his son who is now taking lessons.

Ron holds a B.A. in Economics from Providence College and has spent the last 25 years working in the commercial sign industry. Sarah came to Sign Design in 2012 after eight years in accounting and customer service in the banking industry. She works in collaboration with the department managers and sales team to create estimates and cost completed projects. Sarah is also trained in purchasing and scheduling and jumps in to assist whenever needed.

Sarah graduated from New England College of Business & Finance with a degree in Business and a concentration in Accounting.  She enjoys the challenge of sourcing materials to make our client’s visions a reality. Sarah’s superpower is detail orientation and she uses that daily to keep our estimates competitive and accurate!

Sarah Williams

Sarah has been in the printing and production industry for almost two decades! Prior to Sign Design, she worked for ten years in the proofing department for New England Art Publishers, which specialized in Wedding Invitations. Sarah started here in our finishing department and now uses her talents for quality control and expediting projects for installation.  She also goes on the road to assist the installation department. She enjoys the hands-on aspect of her job, that there is something new to learn every day, and enjoys the creative approach to obstacles. Her free time often consists of various crafting and up-cycling and, in nicer weather, tracking Geocaches.

He began his career as a sub-contractor for one of the largest sign companies in New England. Steve also gained extensive knowledge in energy management and energy-efficient lighting products from his seven years as a lead technician for Sylvania Lighting Services, one of the nation's largest leading lighting management companies.
